# Disclaimers

What Bloxchain does and does not do with your keys and your data, and where the legal documents live.

## Non-custodial

Bloxchain never holds private keys, seed phrases or assets. Every on-chain action is signed by your wallet. Transactions can fail, revert or be irreversible, and Bloxchain cannot reverse them. If you lose a key, Bloxchain cannot recover it; the **Recovery** role on your account is your fallback.

The SDK runs in your own infrastructure. Key management and RPC security are yours.

## Security assurance

The Protocol core is audited by Nethermind (NM\_0828), core framework scope. Custom extensions and your own configuration are not covered by that audit. The Bloxchain Platform is **Alpha · Local-first**: official deployments are live on the 15 supported networks, in the Platform and in the Protocol. An audit does not guarantee the absence of risk, and it does not cover your operational controls or your legal position. Details: [Audit status](/security/audit-status.md), [Known limitations](/security/audit-status/known-limitations.md), [Security model](/security/security-model.md).

## No financial or legal advice

This documentation describes product and Protocol behaviour. It is not investment, legal, tax or compliance advice. Consult qualified professionals for your jurisdiction and use case.

## Data handling

What is stored depends on how you use the Platform.

**We do not store** private keys, seed phrases or passwords for wallets. Sign-in credentials are handled by our sign-in provider at login.

**On chain,** addresses, transactions and amounts are public on the network you use. Account names and marks are never written on chain.

**Reference prices** shown in **Assets** come from a third-party feed, are indicative only, and resolve on Ethereum and Arbitrum One only.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.bloxchain.app/security/audit-status/security-disclaimers.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
